358Y..1955 Corvette Convertible, VIN #78, 265-195 hp, V-8, powerglide (but originally a 3 speed car), numbers match (first year of the V-8). Gypsy Red paint with Ivory/Red stitch interior and White soft top. Only 170 Corvettes were produced in Gypsy Red of the total production of 700 for the 1955 model year! Older body-off restoration now starting to show age in most areas. Optioned with 3.55 rear, Wonderbar radio, e-brake warning light, courtesy lights, heater, hubcaps, and Coker classic wide white tires. Most all factory correct type components including the spare, trunk mat, trunk liner, side windows, side window bag, rebound straps, shifter, shielding, braided wires, air cleaner, generator, hood pop-ups, and owners manual.
